In “Orfeo&Euridice”, designed by Ciclostile Architettura based in Bologna-Italy, the themes of the threshold and the passage are understood as design elements that emphasize the spaces of daily life
The apartment is clearly divided between the living area and the sleeping area but the separating element is represented by the kitchen which thus becomes the center of gravity of the house. It is a pass-through environment that overlooks both the living room and the sleeping area thanks to two opposite glass walls.
The distribution corridor is the ordering element of the space overlooked by all the rooms in the sleeping area, here the wooden floor with Italian herringbone pierces the cobalt blue walls that hide a succession of shutters and doors to mark the space.
